Description
Micranthemum tweediei, commonly known as ‘Monte Carlo’, is one of the most popular and versatile carpeting plants in the aquascaping hobby. It features small, bright green, rounded leaves that creep horizontally across the substrate to form a dense, beautiful lawn.
-
Sterile & Safe: Tissue culture plants are grown in vitro using a nutrient gel. This ensures you are introducing zero pests, algae spores, or harmful chemicals into your delicate ecosystem.
-
Growth Rate: Moderate to fast under optimal conditions.
-
Care Requirements: While it can survive in low-tech setups, providing medium-to-high lighting and CO2 injection will result in a much thicker, faster-growing carpet.
-
Planting Instructions: Carefully remove the plant from the cup. Wash away the nutrient gel thoroughly under running tap water. Divide the plant into small 1cm portions and plant them deep into your aquasoil, spaced about an inch apart.
